Frederickson Voter Lookup Steps
VoteWA, also called MyVote, is the official self-service lookup for a Frederickson voter. It is an authenticated account tool, not an open directory of other people. Enter the voter’s registered first and last names, full birth date, and complete the security check. A match can display status, registered address, precinct and districts, elected representatives, ballot information, and participation history. If no match appears, check the spelling used at registration, a former surname, the date entry, and any very recent update before contacting Pierce County Elections.

The screen separates personal voter services from public-list access. A failed login does not prove that a registration is absent; protected status, timing, or a data-entry mismatch may explain it.
Frederickson Elections Office Channel
The Pierce County Auditor is chief registrar for Frederickson precincts. Pierce County Elections, at 2501 S. 35th Street, Suite C in Tacoma, handles local registration questions, ballots, precinct matters, and county election records. Contact the office when VoteWA will not match a valid registration, when an update is still processing, or when a precinct assignment needs explanation.

Frederickson is not its own election jurisdiction. County precinct and district geography controls the local record even when a mailing address uses Tacoma, Puyallup, or Spanaway.

What Washington Voter Records Show
Washington’s registration database holds more than the fields shown in a public report. RCW 29A.08.010, .125, and .210 govern core statewide and county content. Public lists can identify a voter and provide civic geography, but confidential application details stay closed. Pierce County also maintains precinct, taxing-district, and election-participation data for Frederickson registrations.

Confidential by law. RCW 29A.08.710 withholds signatures, driver or state ID numbers, Social Security digits, and full birth dates. Protected residence data is excluded under RCW 40.24.060 and election rules.
Frederickson Ballots Stay Secret
Washington voters do not register by political party. A presidential-primary declaration is a separate election event and should not be mistaken for a lasting party field. Participation history also has a narrow meaning. Under RCW 29A.40.130, a record may show that a ballot was issued or returned, or that the voter took part in an election. It never shows how the ballot was marked.
This distinction matters in both current and historical research. A poll book may place a person in a precinct and show participation, yet it cannot reveal a choice for candidate or measure. Treat voter records as proof of civic status at a point in time, not as a statement of belief.
Frederickson Voter Status Changes
RCW 29A.08.615 recognizes active, inactive, and pending voter registration states. Returned address-confirmation or ballot mail and change-of-address processes may shift a record to inactive under RCW 29A.08.620. A later qualifying action can restore active status. Cancellation follows notice and statutory procedures in RCW 29A.08.625 through .640, while death, felony confinement, and competency proceedings have their own rules.
The statewide database also checks other government sources for duplicate or ineligible registrations. A missing or inactive Frederickson result is therefore a snapshot, not proof that no older voter record exists. Protected Frederickson Voter Records
Washington’s Address Confidentiality Program gives qualifying participants a substitute address and mail-forwarding service. Voting requires the special Protected Records Voter process. WAC 434-324-034 keeps protected voter information out of publicly accessible voter databases, and disclosure requests must exclude the protected residence, county, and precinct details.

Ordinary online registration can expose an actual address, so participants should use the protected process. ACP protects future use of the address but does not automatically erase older deeds, court files, or directories.
Requesting Washington Voter Registration Data
The Secretary of State now fulfills statewide voter-list, matchback, and voting-history reports. The VRDB extract request supplies a comprehensive active-voter file with current and previous-year participation history plus district and precinct information. It is updated near the start of each month and delivered free as a delimited CSV through an emailed link. Frederickson data must be selected through Pierce County, precinct, or district geography.

- Submit the form and save the emailed CSV link. Large files may need database software rather than a basic spreadsheet.
Requests can take up to five business days, though delivery is often immediate. SB 5892 centralized this work in 2026, superseding Pierce County’s old data form. Frederickson Voter List Limits
RCW 29A.08.720 and .740 prohibit using furnished lists to mail or deliver advertisements or offers for property, organizations, products, or services, or to solicit money, services, or things of value. The custodian must provide the statutory warning. RCW 29A.84.150 addresses improper database use or alteration, and misuse can bring criminal and civil consequences.
Use voter records with care. Limit the file to a lawful civic or personal purpose, secure it against prohibited redisclosure, and never use it to stalk, harass, threaten, or expose protected information.
Common names, moves, protected status, and update timing can produce a false match. Verify the person through a second official source, retain only what the task requires, and delete working data when it is no longer needed.
Historical Frederickson Voter Rolls
Older poll books, precinct registers, election abstracts, and returns move to the Washington State Archives or Digital Archives according to retention schedules. Search by “Pierce County Auditor,” series, and date. Because Frederickson is a modern census-designated place rather than an old municipality, the catalog may organize an ancestor under a historic precinct number, township and range, school district, or a nearby postal community.
Registration registers may preserve a name and address while ballots remain secret. No continuous Frederickson-only poll-book run was verified. Use the archive catalog, then ask the regional branch about paper or microfilm holdings when a digital result is absent. That fallback preserves the difference between a missing index entry and a missing historical record.
